Stacey Traina, DMD
Dr. Stacey Traina began training for a career in dentistry as early as high school, when she was accepted into a 7-year, accelerated program in chemical biology at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. This allowed her to earn her Bachelor of Science in just three years, and she still managed to graduate with high honors in the top 3% of her class. The next four years were spent at the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey (now Rutgers University), where she continued to work diligently towards achieving a DMD degree, making the Dean’s List every year and earning membership in the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society.
Dr. Traina then trained as a general practice resident at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ, where she gained exceptional experience in all phases of dentistry. Now practicing for over ten years, she keeps current on all of the latest and greatest in dental care by attending continuing education courses all year long. The New Jersey Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry are among the several professional societies that Dr. Traina is a member of, as well as a certified Invisalign® provider.
Dr. Traina joined the team at Nova Dental in 2013. She takes pride in being a meticulous dentist who pays attention to every detail. With her outstanding demeanor and professionalism, and genuine concern for each patient both personally and dentally, Dr. Traina is a great asset to our team as she is dedicated to providing quality dental care.
A lifelong Jersey City resident, Dr. Traina is married to her high school sweetheart, Justin, and together they are raising their son, Anthony. Dr. Traina loves her job as wife and mother, and both keep her very busy.
Kate Coyle, DMD
Dr. Kate Coyle has been exposed to the dental profession from an early age. While Dr. Kate would love to say she’s always known she wanted to be a dentist (especially after her father’s tremendous career day performance in front of her kindergarten class), it wasn’t until she was in college that she decided to follow in her father’s footsteps.
Dr. Kate graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College in 2007. After graduation, she made her way to NYC to work as a Consultant in Booz Allen Hamilton’s healthcare strategy group. While she enjoyed learning about the business aspect of healthcare, this experience showed her how much she wanted to be on the human side of the profession. Dr. Kate applied to dental school and spent her gap year working as a dental assistant in this office, where she had the privilege of meeting many of our wonderful patients.
Dr. Kate graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2014. At graduation, she was awarded the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student Award. After graduation, she continued her training at Massachusetts General Hospital’s General Practice Residency program. While in residency, Dr. Kate continued to hone her clinical skills while also acquiring an expertise in treating medically compromised and special needs patients.
Dr. Kate enjoys many aspects of dentistry, from restorative and cosmetic work to endodontics and oral surgery. She is also Invisalign and Botox certified. Dr. Kate is thrilled to be back in Madison practicing with her father and the amazing team at Coyle Dentistry. She looks forward to seeing you soon!
