Meet Our Doctors

Dennis Coyle, DMD, FAGD

Dr. Coyle attended Xavier High School in Manhattan before attending the University of Notre Dame for his undergraduate studies. He then pursued his dental degree at Farleigh Dickinson University Dental School, graduating in 1979. He is constantly continuing his education because he believes that he owes it to his patients to stay current in the dental field. Dr. Coyle has trained at the Spear Institute as well as the Pankey Institute for Advanced Studies.

Dr. Coyle is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and American Dental Association®, and is also a preferred provider for Invisalign®. He has been practicing in the area for over 30 years. Dr. Coyle is married and has two daughters, one of whom is also a dentist. Some of Dr. Coyle’s hobbies include golfing, watching Notre Dame football games, traveling, and fly-fishing.

Kate Coyle, DMD

Dr. Kate attended The Pingry School in Martinsville, NJ. She then attended Dartmouth College, graduating cum laude. After graduation, she made her way to NYC to work as a Consultant in Booz Allen Hamilton’s healthcare strategy group. While she enjoyed learning about the business aspect of healthcare, this experience showed her how much she wanted to be on the human side of the profession. Dr. Kate applied to dental school and spent her gap year working as a dental assistant in this office, where she had the privilege of meeting many of our wonderful patients.

Dr. Kate graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2014. At graduation, she was awarded the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student Award. After graduation, she continued her training at Massachusetts General Hospital’s General Practice Residency program. While in residency, Dr. Kate continued to hone her clinical skills while also acquiring an expertise in treating medically compromised and special needs patients.

Dr. Kate enjoys many aspects of dentistry, from restorative and cosmetic work to endodontics and oral surgery. She is also Invisalign® and BOTOX® certified. Dr. Kate is thrilled to be back in Madison practicing with her father and the amazing team at Coyle Dentistry. She looks forward to seeing you soon!

Barb—Registered Dental Assistant & Certified Dental Assistant

Barb graduated from the Berdan Institute with honors on the Dean’s List. She regularly attends seminars and classes to keep up on the latest techniques and procedures in dentistry. She has been with our office since 1997 as a team player who builds relationships with our patients when she contributes to their comfort and care. Barb does this by providing expanded functions and chairside assisting at our inviting practice. She says, “Many patients are apprehensive about going to the dentist, and my goal is to make them comfortable and relaxed.”

Barb recently purchased a lovely new house which is a home for her daughter, Nicole, and her two rescue dogs, Layla and Bree. In her free time, Barb enjoys camping, gardening, going on vacations, pampering her pets, and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Kelly—Registered Dental Hygienist

Kelly has been a dental assistant since 2003 and earned her dental hygiene degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in 2010. She contributes to our practice by educating our patients so they can have an understanding about how to achieve optimum oral health.

When Kelly isn’t working at our office, she can be found hiking, painting, taking photos, and traveling. She is an animal-lover who owns a rescued kitten named Bella.
